Offering quality homegrown beef from our farm to your table for your family to enjoy.
Our beef is raised from birth till butcher date on our farm. We eat this ourselves and therefore are particular on how it is raised. Predominately the animal will be Hereford and Angus breeds.
If your butcher date is in the later spring, summer and early fall it will be a grass finished beef, meaning this is its main source of nutrition with some mineral supplementation.
Fall and winter butcher dates are still fed a mainly grass diet (hay) and a mixture of feed that includes grains and minerals we mix here ourselves, to ensure the best health of the animals during harsher months.
We raise Hereford Angus cross and registered Herefords. Our animals are fed according to the season and their specific nutrition needs. They are supplemented with grain and minerals, a mixture that we put together ourselves.
They are majority grass fed, and free to roam the pasture in the summer months. Winter months when there is no grass growth they are provided with hay and a silage mixture to ensure they are getting the nutrition they need to breed, maintain a healthy pregnancy and produce healthy calves.
Our butcher animals come from our personal stock and are born and raised by us until butcher date.
We have been raising cattle for over 16 years and Blake is a 5rd generation farmer.
We use a local family owned butcher that is licensed and inspected by the state of Kansas. They are approved to butcher for us to be able to resell, in Kansas only at this time.
We also have proper licensing and been inspected to store and sell the beef from our home. KS #2280
